    I had braces for ten years. they suck. they hurt. they tightened them every Monday, and I felt lousy all day. although my mom was cool and let me stay home from school on braces-tightening day. hang in there. it’ll be worth it some day. and in this big, powerful, wealthy country of ours, there are literally millions of people who have no dental plan or other health care, and their teeth are rotting out of their heads by age 30.
